Research indicated that by 2020, approximately 23% of job openings in the United States would necessitate at least a bachelor’s degree.

Simultaneously, the demand for a diverse and inclusive workforce has been steadily rising.

Eligibility for Wallin Scholarship 2023-24:

1. Senior Status: To be eligible for the Wallin Scholarship in 2023-24, the applicant must be a senior at a partnering high school.
2. Academic Criteria: The applicant should have a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
3. Standardized Test Score: Additionally, a scholarship applicant must have achieved a total ACT score of 19 or higher.
4. College Application: Eligible applicants must have applied to at least one accredited, four-year, public or private (not-for-profit) college or university. These institutions should be located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or one of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

6. Income Limit: To qualify for the Wallin Scholarship, applicants must have a family taxable income of $75,000 or less in the year 2018, coupled with low to moderate assets.
