McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a division of Johnson & Johnson, funds the Tylenol Scholarship, which is an annual scholarship program.
The scholarship aims to support students who are pursuing healthcare-related education in the United States.
Tylenol Scholarship Eligibility
Residency:
Applicants must be residents of the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia.
Undergraduate students:
Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate course study by the Spring of 2015 at an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.
Must provide proof of enrollment in a public health/health education, med school, nursing, and/or pharmacy degree program.
Graduate students:
Must provide proof of enrollment in a graduate program in public health/health education, med school, nursing, and/or pharmacy degree program.
Remaining school years:
Must have one or more years of school remaining.
Ineligibility:
Employees of McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., ISTS, Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their families are not eligible.
Tylenol Scholarship Selection criteria:

- Applications will be evaluated by an independent selection committee.
- Consideration will be given to:
- College GPA.
- Academic records in public health/health education, med school, nursing, and/or pharmacy.
- Community involvement/volunteer service.
- Essay content.
- Award details:
10 non-renewable awards of $10,000 each.
30 non-renewable awards of $5,000 each.
Students can reapply annually if they continue to meet eligibility criteria and have not been past winners.
Students can use Tylenol scholarship funds for covering tuition, fees, purchasing books, supplies, and acquiring required course equipment.
The scholarship recipients must attend accredited nonprofit two or four-year colleges/universities in the United States.
A student can transfer to another institution and retain the award.
