Steiner Family Scholarship 2023-2024

The Steiner Family Scholarship, which is open to graduating high school seniors from Chilton or New Holstein high schools in Wisconsin, actively encourages students who intend to pursue degrees in agriculture or education to submit their applications.

Furthermore, scholarship recipients are selected based on their active involvement in extracurricular activities, dedication to community service, and ability to demonstrate financial need.

Steiner Family Scholarship

Steiner Family Scholarship Eligibility:

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Be a graduating senior from either Chilton or New Holstein high schools in Wisconsin
  • Pursuing a degree in advanced agriculture or an education-related field
  • Intend to enroll as a full-time student at a technical college or a 4-year university
  • Active participation in extracurricular activities and community service
  • Showcase leadership qualities, talents, and a strong work history
  • Provide evidence of financial need

Steiner Family Scholarship Application:

To be considered for the Steiner Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:

  1. Initiate Tuition Assistance Application: All applicants must first apply for and receive approval for tuition assistance from the Santa Fe Waldorf School.
  2. Eligibility Criteria: Families with a child (or children) entering grades 6­12 in the upcoming academic year, who have been granted the maximum allowable tuition assistance and have demonstrated additional financial need, will become eligible to apply for the Steiner Scholarship.
  3. Invitation to Apply: Once invited to apply, a family must submit the following documents to the Business Office within three calendar weeks:
    • A letter from the student detailing their experiences at the Santa Fe Waldorf School up to the present and expressing their aspirations for the future.
    • A letter from the parent(s)/guardian(s) providing context for their scholarship application and emphasizing their commitment to the school community.
    • 1­2 letters of recommendation from a teacher, spiritual leader, or community leader (who are not related to any member of the applying family) to provide insights into how the student will benefit from the scholarship.
    • A main lesson book from the past 12 month
