  • Demonstrate clarity, creativity, accuracy, and passion for the subject.
  • No need for high-tech or fancy production value.
  • Videos longer than 3 minutes will not be considered.
  • Choose any STEM topic that excites and fascinates you, not necessarily your field of study.
  • Scientific accuracy is important, and sources used should be cited in a slide or frame at the end of the video.
  • Upload the video to YouTube and set it as ‘public’. No exceptions allowed.


  • Ideal candidate is an ambassador for their field and shares their passion with others.
  • Citizenship is not a requirement for application.
  • Must attend college or have plans to attend college in the United States or a United States Territory.
  • The Science Ambassador Scholarship is currently open to undergraduate and high school students only.
  • All fields within science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are eligible
