OU Scholarships

The University of Oklahoma (OU) offers a range of scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students.

The OU Scholarships are designed to recognize academic achievements, leadership abilities, community involvement, and other factors.

OU Scholarships

Resident Freshman Scholarships at the University of Oklahoma (OU) for Fall 2023:

National Merit Semifinalist $16,000 Be named a National Merit Semifinalist, have a 3.5 GPA
Oklahoma State Regents’ Academic Scholars Program $50,600 ACT/SAT scores in the top one half of one percent for OK residents
Award of Excellence $16,000 31 ACT or 1390 SAT (or greater) and 3.5 GPA or top 10% class rank
Distinguished Scholar $12,000 29-30 ACT or 1330-1380 SAT and 3.5 GPA or top 10% class rank
University Scholarship $10,000 28 ACT or 1300-1320 SAT and 3.5 GPA or top 10% class rank
Academic Achievement $8,000 24-27 ACT or 1160-1290 SAT and 3.25 GPA or top 10% class rank

Non-Resident Merit Award $28,000 24-25 ACT or 1160-1220 SAT

Admitted students will be offered the highest scholarship based on their qualifications.

Students cannot receive more than one of these merit-based awards.

Test-Optional Scholarships Scholarships available based on holistic evaluation, but submitting a test score is encouraged

The scholarship awards listed above are for non-resident students entering OU for the fall 2023 semester.

Transfer International Scholarships

These scholarships are for the Norman campus and this list does not include all possible scholarships.

Scholarships awarded by individual departments have an application deadline of February 1.

Student considered a transfer student for these scholarships if  have completed 24 college credit hours post high school graduation.
