Available for students enrolled in accredited US colleges, universities, or coding bootcamps.
Applicants must be pursuing a degree or certificate in a technology-related field.

Kaleidoscope Scholarship Eligibility
Enrolled or accepted as a full-time student in a computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering program at an accredited university.
Maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Residing in the United States or Canada.
Identifying as a member of an underrepresented group in technology.
Demonstrating a passion for computer science and a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the field.

- Gather your application materials, including:
- Resume/CV
- Personal statement (500-700 words) explaining your suitability for the scholarship and your plans to use your creative skills for community impact.
- Portfolio showcasing up to 3 pieces of creative work in any medium (e.g., graphic design, photography, animation, videography).
- Submit your application before the designated deadline.
- Find the specific deadline and application form on the scholarship webpage.
- Await a response from the Adobe team. If chosen as a finalist, you will be invited for an interview.

Kaleidoscope Scholarship Program for International Students
- The Kaleidoscope Scholarship Program is available for international students.
- It aims to enrich, educate, and provide family-friendly entertainment for Fort Bend County’s youngsters.
- The program offers a safe and positive environment for children and teenagers in the local area.
- The mission of the program is to ensure the safety and positive development of all children and teenagers in the community.
Kaleidoscope TFBC promotes the importance of higher education through its merit scholarship by:
- Awarding scholarships to High School seniors pursuing post-secondary education and striving for excellence.
- Rewarding high scholastic achievement.
- Encouraging Fort Bend County and surrounding area graduating seniors who have shown commitment to community service through active participation in civic, community, and/or church ministries and activities.
- Promoting a spirit of high ethical standards and principles demonstrated through student accomplishments in and out of the school setting.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- The selection process for scholarships is competitive and involves the following steps:
- Students must submit an online application.
- Students must provide three letters of recommendation.
- Students must submit a transcript.
- Students must participate in a selection panel interview.
- Each scholarship recipient will receive a $1,500 scholarship.
The participant criteria for the scholarships are as follows:
- Students must be residents of or attend a high school within Kaleidoscope TFBC’s service area, as determined by its Board of Directors.
- Students must be graduating seniors in 2023 (before June 25).
- Students must have a minimum un-weighted GPA of 2.75.
- Students must apply to and enroll in an accredited 4-year college or university.
- Letters of Recommendation:
- Students must submit three letters of recommendation.
- One letter must be from an adult at the student’s school (e.g., teacher, counselor, principal).
- One letter must be from an adult from a community, civic, or church organization who has firsthand knowledge of the student’s character and service activities (e.g., scout leader, pastor, mentor).
- The third letter may be from an adult of the student’s choice.
- Relatives are not allowed to write letters.
- Names, emails, and phone numbers of the three referees must be provided in the online application.
- Transcript:
- Each applicant must submit an academic transcript.
- The name, email address, and phone number of the transcript provider (e.g., school counselor) must be provided in the online application.
- The transcript provider will receive separate instructions on how to upload the supporting documents.
- Candidates should remind their document providers to adhere to the March 31, 2023 deadline.
- Scholarship Application Deadline:
- February 1, 2023: Application available online.
- March 31, 2023: Deadline for completing all online applications; physical receipt of letters and official transcripts must be on or before this date.
- April 9, 2023: Candidate interviews with the selection panel.
- April/May 2023: Awards Reception and Recognition for all 2022 Scholarship Recipients.
- Application Submission:
- All online applications must be completed by midnight on March 31, 2023.
- Transcripts and letters of recommendation must be uploaded online by the transcript provider and recommendation providers by March 31, 2023.
- Submissions received after this date will be considered ineligible.
