White’s parents, both pursuing acting careers, met in New York City.
His mother, Eloise, hails from North Carolina and holds a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
After their marriage, they transitioned away from acting to support their family.
White grew up in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, where he discovered his passion for dance, particularly ballet, jazz, and tap.
However, at the age of 13, he shifted his focus to acting and attended the Professional Performing Arts School for high school.
After graduation, he landed the “Lip” Gallagher role on Shameless.
Personal Life
In October 2019, Jeremy Allen White married actress Addison Timlin.
The couple has two daughters, Ezer Billie, and Dolores Wild.

In 2006, he played Young Clive in Beautiful Ohio, and in 2007, he portrayed Sammer in The Speed of Life.
