Ember Education

Ember Education, a shared services division of San Joaquin Valley College, Inc., actively owns and operates 15 college campuses throughout California, along with an Online division.

Its primary function is to offer administrative support and shared business services to the institutions under the ownership and operation of San Joaquin Valley College, Inc.

About Ember Education

It came into existence in 2022 when San Joaquin Valley College, Inc. planned to acquire Carrington College. The acquisition reached its completion in January 2023.

Adtalem Global Education acquired Carrington College in 2011 after its founding in 1967.

Subsequently, in 2018, San Joaquin Valley College, Inc. acquired Carrington College from Adtalem Global Education.

The Perry family established Ember Education with the aim of providing administrative support and shared business services to both San Joaquin Valley College and Carrington College.

Headquartered in Fresno, California, Ember Education operates from there.
