Daniels Scholarship

 

The Daniels Scholarship Program offers ambitious students a chance to pursue their higher education dreams at the college of their preference.

The Daniels Scholarship Program grants selected Daniels Scholars up to $100,000, which they can utilize at any nonprofit, accredited college or university in the United States depending on their financial requirements.

The institution can be either a two-year or four-year program.

The Daniels Scholarship Program was established in 2000 to offer motivated students an opportunity to pursue a bachelor’s degree for a successful career and life.

Bill Daniels had a deep love for America and fought in two wars to defend the country and its freedoms.

He believed in the power of the free enterprise system to improve people’s lives.

Daniels Scholars are selected based on specific criteria defined by Bill Daniels, including:

  • strength of character,
  • leadership potential,
  • commitment to community service,
  • academic performance or promise,
  • well-rounded personality,
  • emotional maturity.

 Daniels Scholarship Program Eligibility?

Students must be graduating high school seniors to be eligible for the Daniels Scholarship Program.

Eligibility is limited to residents of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming.

Applicants must be either citizens or permanent residents of the United States.

A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required from high school.

For standardized tests, students must achieve a minimum SAT Math score of 490 and a minimum Evidence-Based Reading & Writing score of 490.

Alternatively, they should have a minimum ACT score of 18 in each category (writing score not required).

Additionally, the program takes into account additional income allowances of $10,000 per extra dependent claimed on the 2022 tax return.

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit an application form.

A mandatory interview is part of the application process.

A financial need analysis is necessary for consideration.

Applicants must provide an essay as part of the requirements.

Including a photograph is mandatory.
