Ben Shapiro Education Biography

It is great to note that Ben Shapiro is a force to be reckoned with in the world of American politics. A firm supporter of conservatism, he’s a renowned public speaker, author, lawyer, and columnist who gained national syndication at just 17 years old.

Hailing from a Jewish background, Shapiro was an academic prodigy from the start, earning numerous awards including Phi Beta Kappa.

He pursued a career in law and politics, founding an independent legal consultancy firm along the way.

Shapiro’s interest in politics began early, and he has written for high-profile websites such as ABCNews.com and WorldNet Daily.com, penning several popular books in support of conservative values.

As the editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire, a conservative news and opinion website he founded, Shapiro’s opinions on issues such as same-sex marriage, abortion bans, and gun rights have sparked controversy, as have his views on the Muslim population.

Currently, he hosts “The Ben Shapiro Show,” a daily political podcast that continues to challenge the status quo.

Ben Shapiro education

Ben attended Walter Reed Middle School in Studio City, CA, close to his mother’s workplace, from 1993-1997.

After he left, a student brought a knife to a Fun Day event and injured another student. We mention this story for a sociological reason as Ben claimed to have been bullied, but it’s unclear how severe the situation was.

Moving on to high school, he skipped ninth grade, entered Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles at 12, and graduated at 16.

He went on to UCLA and majored in Political Science, graduating with honors, before attending Harvard Law School.

Ben Shapiro career

Ben Shapiro’s career started as a lawyer for the law firm ‘Goodwin Procter’ after graduating from Harvard Law School.

Politics was his passion even during his college days, which led him to become the youngest nationally syndicated columnist at just 17 years old.

Shapiro is a prolific writer and has published several books, including ‘Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America’s Youth’, where he exposes liberal brainwashing in universities.

His conservative views are evident in all his works. His book ‘Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV’ discusses the agenda of Hollywood producers to support left-wing ideas.

Shapiro has dealt with controversial topics in his books such as ‘Project President: Bad Hair and Botox on the Road to the White House’ and ‘The People vs Barack Obama: The Criminal Case Against the Obama Administration.’

Became a Fellow

In 2011, he became a fellow at the ‘David Horowitz Freedom Center’ promoting conservative ideologies.

He later became the editor-at-large of the conservative news website ‘Breitbart News,’ and in 2015, he founded ‘The Daily Wire,’ where he acts as editor-in-chief.

As a popular political commentator, Shapiro hosts ‘The Ben Shapiro Show,’ one of the most downloaded political podcasts.

He has also faced controversy over his views on topics such as abortion bans, same-sex marriages, and his alleged prejudice against Muslims.

Shapiro is also a public speaker, writer, and often presents his conservative views on controversial topics in his columns for ‘Creators Syndicate’ and ‘Newsweek.’

In 2018, Shapiro accused ‘Facebook’ of targeting conservative sites after an algorithm change, which led to limited traffic.
